Having generations of dogs judged by AKC and other certified kennel clubs is a wonderful thing for the breed. It’s highly unlikely that a dog with poor angulation, poor movement, and other multiple flaws will ever become a champion. To me this is the first step in securing a line of healthy functioning French bulldogs. A good structure goes hand in hand with the overall quality of a dog. A frenchie with poor movement can develop hip dysplasia, IVDD, and other problems. With most of those are genetically inherited they certainly can occur due to diet and a bad structure.
